Blu-Ray Pick of the Week: "Woodstock" (1970)

If you ever wanted to know what it was like to be in the middle of the 60's counterculture, you can't get much closer to it than this iconic concert documentary of the landmark music festival. Filmed over the famed "three days of peace and music," this movie captures a very specific moment in time that's still pretty wild to observe. Plus, you get all those great performances from The Who, Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Santana, Crosby, Stills & Nash, and plenty of other 60's and 70's icons. Check this one out, it's pretty awesome (and edited by a young Martin Scorsese too!).
