So, obviously this is a movie that’s been made many times before. Down on his luck, alcoholic guy redeems himself by redeeming a losing sports team, etc. A very old story. The only resonant thing about this trailer is the way it kind of makes you uncomfortable about watching Affleck as a struggling alcoholic, given that you can’t help but wonder if he’s playing really close to himself here. This movie comes out in March. I suppose it could be a feel good, overcoming the odds kind of thing, but like I said, it just feels so predictable.
