So, if anyone remembers, Sony was trying to create its own Marvel Universe with the properties they still own, and it began with 2018’s Venom, the most inexplicable $850 million hit of all time. Here’s their next one, based on a Marvel character called Morbius the Living Vampire, and it could not look more generic if it tried, so…yep. It’s a Sony Marvel movie alright. It’s coming out July 31st.
