With the disappointing box office performance of Onward, I think it’s fair to say Pixar expects a little more from their other release this year, Soul, but with coronavirus rapidly leading to the cancellation of many wide release movies over the next few months, who knows what will happen with this one. It doesn’t look bad though, if a bit familiar.
