Nomadland solidifies its Best Adapted Screenplay frontrunner status
No surprise here, as Nomadland won the Scripter prize, which awards the source material and screenplay as the best adaptation of the year. This usually portends the winner of the Best Adapted Screenplay Oscar, though it has missed in the past. I don’t think that’s happening this year though, as Nomadland is the undisputed frontrunner in the category and a real Best Picture contender as well. It will win this category for sure.
