Despite not officially participating in SDCC, WB did release the full trailer for the Shazam sequel, and as expected, that kid playing Billy now looks in his 20’s, which sort of negates a lot of the point of him transforming into an adult man (as I said years ago, they should have cast younger from the start or made these movies a lot quicker). It doesn’t look that great, as an overly tanned Zachary Levi seems to be acting the wrong age now, and for some inexplicable reason they decided to make up original villains rather than pulling from the character’s long comics history (which tells me these people weren’t particular Captain Marvel, re Shazam fans anyway).
