Welp. I think that’s a wrap on the Best Picture race. Everything Everywhere is clearly a juggernaut and DGA was the top guild it was least likely to win (with PGA and SAG coming up next week, where it’s favored). Unless there’s a strong backlash now to the idea of awarding this movie (likely with Picture and Director) and a clear alternative to rally around, this is our winner and it’s probably a sweep year.
