Well that was anticlimactic. I was hoping Top Gun might win here just to keep things interesting a while longer, but it appears Everything Everywhere is indeed the guild sweeper of the season, having just passed the preferential ballot test with the Producers Guild. Tomorrow night it will win SAG and that’s probably that. The DGA/PGA/SAG stat is pretty unbreakable, no matter what BAFTA did.
