Ann B. Davis, also known as the beloved Alice from The Brady Bunch, died today at the age of 88. The consummate pro acted in several TV sitcoms of the 1950's and even won the Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Emmy twice for her role on The Bob Cummings Show (1955-59). But of course it was her role as Alice that sealed her image forever in the eyes of several generations of TV watchers as the wisecracking maid. She appeared in every episode of the iconic television series (1969-1974) as well as in the reunion and revival incarnations The Brady Bunch Variety Hour (1976-77), The Brady Girls Get Married (1981), The Brady Brides (1981), A Very Brady Christmas (1988), The Bradys (1990) and even a cameo in The Brady Bunch Movie (1995). She's the second member of the original cast to pass away, after Robert Reed's death in 1992.
