UGH. I still watch Homeland and I'm here for the new season, but man. This is going to be just fucking bitter, given how it's partly about protecting the first female president-elect of the U.S. between her election and inauguration. They were hedging their bets on topicality as always and now it's going to leave a bad taste in my mouth. Will I ever see that historic day? Not feeling very hopeful at the moment. America thinks women are such trash that we elected a racist, unqualified sexual predator over the most qualified person in history. Well, it wasn't the majority anyway. Most americans did make the right choice but our voices were not heard. Apparently we don't count. Homeland can have its fun living in a fantasy world where women are respected enough for this to happen.
