Olivia Colman took over from Claire Foy in a seamless transition in The Crown’s third season
The Writers Guild has announced its television nominations for writing in 2019, and this is a big harbinger for what’s to come at the 2020 Emmys, in terms of Watchmen and The Crown, especially. Look out for those shows, which had outstanding seasons in the last part of this year. i’m also happy to see Mindhunter get recognized here, as well as Succession (also a lock for the Emmys next year), and even a nod for The Terror: Infamy, which already seems bound to go just as unfairly overlooked as the original The Terror.
