I missed this trailer last week, but having recently caught up on the messy but very entertaining Morning Show, I’ll definitely be tuning in for Season 2 in the fall. The first season couldn’t have been more timely if it tried, with a MeToo inspired storyline that traced the zeitgeist exactly, but has me wondering where Steve Carell’s Mitch Kessler (basically a stand-in for Matt Lauer) goes from here with his role on the show. Jennifer Aniston was really good here too, as a narcissistic antihero who does unlikable surprisingly well (though I can’t say the same for Reese Witherspoon, who seems miscast in a baffling character that bears no recognition to real life, but with such a strong ensemble surrounding her, luckily it doesn’t matter too much).
