Maid gets a WGA award

WGA TV Awards Go For 'Hacks,' 'Maid,' 'Succession'

Maid gets a WGA award

The Writers Guild gave out its TV awards tonight as well as its features- they chose Hacks over Ted Lasso, same as the Emmys did in writing, while honoring Mare of Easttown, Maid, Conan and Full Frontal, so that’s a cool deviation from the norm.

2022 WGA TV WINNERS

  • Original Long Form: Mare of Easttown

  • Adapted Long Form: Maid

  • Drama Series: Succession

  • Comedy Series: Hacks

  • Episodic Drama: Succession

  • Episodic Comedy: The Great

  • Animation: Planteau

  • Comedy/Variety Special: Full Frontal Wants to Take Your Guns

  • Comedy/Variety Sketch Series: I Think You Should Leave With Tim Robinson

  • Comedy Variety Talk Series: Conan
