Sadly, the Lead Actress category is the one where they had to do the most reaching, as there remains a major dearth of quality leading roles for women of color in Hollywood. I also think an oversight here would be Keith Stanfield in supporting for Short Term 12, one of the standout performances of 2013. The Image Awards take place Feb 22nd.
