The first Joker citation in awards season comes from AFI
The American Film Institute revealed its annual top ten of the year, and the Oscar Best Picture always comes from this list, so be aware of that. Usually 5-8 of these films make it into the nominations for Best Picture. They also gave a special award to Parasite, which isn’t eligible for the list because it’s not an American made film.
