I knew these guys would do this. The LAFC tend to go out of their way to not be Oscar influencers, so Parasite was the coolest non-Oscary choice they could have gone with. Although in this case, I do believe Parasite will be nominated for Best Picture as well. The critics have really come through for Antonio Banderas too, trying to boost his visibility to get him his very first Oscar nomination in Best Actor. I hope it works.
