The sound guild appreciates Ford v. Ferrari’s sound editing
The guild for sound editing gave out its top awards tonight, and this is a bit of a technical award, but the top one is the prize for '“effects/foley,” which went to Ford v. Ferrari. 1917 got the ADR award and I would definitely go with 1917 for both sound Oscars (war movies or musicals always win those- this year our big nominee is a war movie, so I’d bet on it for both editing and mixing).
