No surprises at the Critics Choice awards last night, as they chose to stay with the critical consensus in Nomadland for Picture and Director. There were some variations in the two female acting categories, as perhaps Bakalova is still in the race for an Oscar nomination, and Best Actress went to Carey Mulligan. They finally managed to restrain themselves in the amount of suspicious “ties” they produce, with only one this year for editing.
