Nightmare Alley picked up a sound editors guild award tonight
The Motion Picture Sound Editors had their guild awards tonight, which celebrates the sound editing of films, resulting their top awards going to Nightmare Alley and Dune, as well as West Side Story. Of course, the Oscar now is just called Best Sound and combines sound editing and mixing, and is one of the awards that was kicked off the telecast this year, so….I guess it’ll go to Dune, but we won’t see it.
