TRAILER: "Olive Kitteridge"

HBO's latest miniseries is based on the Pulitzer Prize winning book by Elizabeth Strout that covers 25 years in the life of schoolteacher Olive Kitteridge (played here by Frances McDormand) and her relationships with her friends and husband. It's got a pretty good cast that includes Bill Murray and Richard Jenkins, and the whole series is directed by Lisa Cholodenko, who made 2010's The Kids Are All Right. It's kind of a shame- this looks like it could have been an actual feature film if it was made 15-20 years ago, but now so many adult dramas head straight to TV instead. ,The 4-part series premieres on Sunday, Nov 2nd, and will be played over two nights, the 2nd and the 3rd.
