The popular Borat sequel gets a WGA nod

The Writers Guild has weighed in now and, as always, there are many films that weren’t eligible for this particular industry award, as some writers aren’t a part of the guild. But if there are snubs for certain movies that were eligible, it can point to industry indifference, which is why Spike Lee’s Da 5 Bloods may be in danger of missing out altogether now. Same for Charlie Kaufman’s I’m Thinking of Ending Things and the one I’m rooting for, Never Rarely Sometimes Always (which could still happen at the Oscars, but should have had guild support here).
