Top Gun’s trophy haul has been somewhat disappointing this season, but it’s probably got sound locked up
The Motion Picture Sound Editors Golden Reel sound awards were given out tonight- as expected, the frontrunners for sound awards are always action movies or musicals. In this case I think Top Gun has got to win something at the Oscars, so I’m betting on it for at least sound. The Foley award is the big one for this group and TGM took it, so it’s in good shape there.
